Intro into Ashtanga Yoga

Cost: $15 per person; Limited to only 15 people; therefore advance registration is suggested
Ashtanga yoga is a practice that synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body.
We will explore the poses that make up the set sequence of Ashtanga’s Half Primary Series. We will go over breathing techniques, body alignment and the foundations of a complete practice.
All levels welcome. All you need to bring are a mat, towel and open mind. A limited number of mats are available to rent for $3/class.
About Your Teacher, Ashlee: Ashlee has mastered the primary series in one year under her teacher who practiced with Sharath Jois in Mysore, India. She has attended multiple workshops to gain an understanding of the practice and sequence. She practices daily and believes in its personal transformation.
