Sacred Signal Members: How to Join Discord

*Please note: This is for current Sacred Signal Members only

1. Download the free Discord App. On your phone, go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the “Discord” app. From your computer: Visit https://discord.com/ and download the app or use Discord directly in your browser. 

2. Create a free Discord Account. Open Discord and create an account using your email address and a secure password. If you already have an account, utilize that one! Please ensure that your discord "name" is the name you want others to see, as we will not be utilizing nicknames or name changes in the server.

3. Complete the Discord Access Form. Please complete this form regarding your discord account information. Doing so will provide you with the link to join the Sacred Signals Community Server. Go here: https://spiritandspark.com/request-access-discord-community

4. Join the Discord Server. Click the invitation link provided to you once you have completed the form from Step #3. If prompted, log in to Discord, then click “Accept Invite” to join the server. 

5. Explore Channels. Channels are listed on the left-hand side of your screen. Each channel has a purpose (e.g., #general-chat for casual conversations). Read the channel descriptions to know where to post specific content. All “channels” under the “Information” section are to be read upon entering the server. This will include the rules section. Although there are "message threads" that you can communicate in, these are only for announcements and readable member information.

6. Ask for Help. If you’re stuck, tag a moderator or admin (e.g., `@Admin`) for assistance in the general chat. Although I own the Server, my assistant Campbell (Cam) is there to answer any questions and help out.

7. Say Hello. Under Information, click on "Text Channels" and "general." In there, say hello and let us know where you are joining from (city/state/country, for example).
